Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

The fall season is here and it’s time for pumpkin recipes! Don’t you just love when the leaves start to change colors? Most trees change into gold, orange, or yellow and they are breathtaking. The extremely hot weather during summer made a lot of people long for autumn. Celebrate the beginning of colder days with a pumpkin pie then turn leftovers into a yummy pumpkin pie milkshake. This recipe by Tasty is so good and creamy with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup. It’s the perfect drink to grab any time of the week. With pumpkins everywhere, you surely don’t want to miss out on this sweet treat. It’s super easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. Kids and adults will definitely crave this drink. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin spice
- 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (separated)
- 1 slice of pumpkin pie
- 1 and 1/2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- pumpkin pie spice (for garnish on top)

Instructions:
Step 1:
Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin spice, and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup to a large bowl. Mix them together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until fluffy and well combined. Once done, set it aside.
Step 2:
Now, it’s time for the milkshake. Add 1 slice of pumpkin pie, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1-1/2 cups of vanilla ice cream to a blender. Blend them well until it becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 3:
Pour the milkshake into a big glass then scoop some of the cream and put it on top of the pumpkin pie milkshake. Lastly, sprinkle some pumpkin spice on the frosting then serve. Enjoy this delightful and yummy drink with friends and family this autumn season!
