Step 1

T-shirts usually have a hem at the bottom already, so the first thing that you have to do is to remove that, simply pick apart the stitching at the 1-inch fold of the hem.

Step 2

Next, make a 1-inch mark at the bottom and cut off the excess fabric, then repeat marking the bottom with what size you want the new hem to be, and draw the real hemline.

Step 3

Fold the hem nicely and evenly, then press it down, and sew 2 stitch lines on the top side of the hem. Press it once more and you’re t-shirt is done!
