Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Get a baking dish, then use the baking spray to grease the span. Make sure to spray the corners and sides. Be generous with the spray.
Get a spoon and pour 1 can of crushed pineapple into the bottom of the pan. Spread it evenly. Once done, get the cherry pie filling and spoon them out. Put on top of the crushed pineapples.
Spread all of the yellow cake mix on top. Make sure to cover all of the pineapple and cherry pie filling. Don’t forget the corners. Next, chop the pecan nuts, then add 1/2 cup to the cake.
Cut the butter into slices and put them on top of the cake.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for an hour. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a bit. Take a spoon, then place it on a plate. Scoop some vanilla ice cream on top and serve!
