With a few simple ingredients, you can make this pasta in less than an hour, and the best part is it’s a one-pan recipe! Who wouldn’t like a dish that produces fewer dishes to wash? Learn how to make it by watching the video below for the step by step instructions.
Cook the pappardelle pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water. While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp avocado oil in a large pan over high heat. Add the sliced steak and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper. Toss and cook for about three to four minutes or until brown. Once done, transfer to a plate and set aside.
Turn the heat down to medium-high and add 1 tbsp salted butter. Once melted, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Stir fry for about three minutes until softened. Next, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. After this, add 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. Mix and allow the sauce to come to a simmer. Once simmering, add the cooked steak to the pan and stir everything together. Now, add the cooked pasta to the pan along with a cup of reserved pasta water. Toss everything together, then sprinkle 1 packed cup of grated mozzarella cheese. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
