This peanut butter lasagna dessert recipe by Spend With Pennies on YouTube is an easy recipe because it requires no baking. Although there are a couple layer to this dessert, every layer is different and makes up for a unique lasagna dessert. This simple no bake recipe can be made ahead of time for a potluck or gathering. The dessert looks amazing once you cut a slice. It’s rich and fluffy with the peanut fulling and chocolatey pudding. I think this would steal the show if I make this for friends and family members because the final presentation looks delicious. Plus the combination of peanut butter and chocolate is a classic.

Ingredients:

Crust

  • 36 Oreo Cookies
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Peanut butter layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping such as Cool Whip

Chocolate layer:

  • 2 boxes of instant chocolate pudding 
  • 2 3/4 cups milk

 

Topping:

  • whipped topping
  • 1 bag of Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Cups
  • peanut butter chips
  • Chocolate Syrup, optional

Directions:

First, start off by making each layer individually. Press the Oreo crust at the bottom of the pan, and place in freezer while preparing the next layer. Spread the peanut butter mixture onto the Oreo crust, and place back in the freezer. Repeat to the next layer. Next, top with remaining whipped topping, chopped Reese’s mini pieces, peanut butter chips, and chocolate sauce if desired. Store in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.

Overall, I’d make this dessert because it looks light and rich at the same time. Pudding is oddly one of my favorite desserts because I don’t feel heavy after eating it.
