Summer is upon us and it’s time to let loose all the year’s stresses. I was planning a moderately small get together for my close friends at my small apartment and I was looking for something we could all drink, like a delicious ice slush drink. I had only made frozen margaritas and I really wanted something more like a drink and less like a dessert, so when I found this excellent Peach Crown Royal Slushie recipe on YouTube, I knew it would be perfect. I went to the liquor store and got all the ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Quart Of Peach Mango Kool-Aid
  • Peach Crown Royal
  • Strawberry Syrup or Grenadine (for color)
  • Ice
  • A Blender

Put your ice in the blender with the Peach Mango Kool-Aid, and  Apple Crown Royal (as strong as you want) , then blend until smooth.

Then you add a little strawberry syrup or Grenadine to the bottom of each glass to give the drink the exact look of a natural peach, then fill all your glasses with the slushie mixture and enjoy.

I hope you try this delicious Apple Crown Royal Slush with Gatorade because it is refreshing and delicious. My friends from high school were all so taken aback when I served it at my fun Valentine’s Day Party because they remembered exactly the way it used to taste when my Mom made it in the 1960s. Everyone was so thrilled at the first initial gulp, I ended up making five pitchers full of it and the wine was left untouched! What a resounding success and we were feeling no pain, let me tell you! I hope everyone loves this as much as my guests did!
