If you’re on a diet, this is not the recipe for you because it is full of sugar and calories. However, it is delicious and so simple to make with little to no effort required. This is a good twist on Fall desserts because I’ve never heard of Mountain Dew apple cobbler. Also, those who are a big fan of Mountain Dew would love this recipe.

This is an interesting apple cobbler recipe, but Mountain Dew is such a southern soda drink that a lot of people love. Also, note that the apple dumplings can get soggy if they’re sitting in the baking dish, so remove them to the cooling rack if you do not like that. However, I don’t think I would mind it because it would soak up all of the flavor and sugar. Lastly, I think using sugar substitutes would be the best bet for me when making this recipe because the soda has a lot of sugar already.
