Corn casserole is one of the most famous side dishes that will always be present at the dinner table during holidays, birthdays, or gatherings. It is always a hit no matter the occasion. One of the best versions I have ever tried is Paula Deen’s corn casserole, which I learned about through Casual Cooking‘s video on YouTube. Not only is it delicious but also easy and quick to make.

To make Paula Deen’s corn casserole, you need creamed corn, whole kernel sweet corn, Jiffy corn muffin mix, sour cream, butter, and shredded cheddar cheese. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients except for the cheese in a mixing bowl, then transfer to a casserole dish, and bake in the oven. Once done baking, sprinkle the cheese, and bake again until melted. That’s all you need to do. Give it a try – I am sure you’ll love it!

In a large mixing bowl, add one box of Jiffy corn mix, one can of whole-kernel sweet corn, creamed corn, one stick of melted butter, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
Lightly grease a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish with butter or you can use a 10″ cast iron skillet. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Spread evenly.
Place the casserole inside the oven and bake at 350F for about 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, remove the corn casserole from the oven and sprinkle 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Make sure to cover the whole top, especially the corners.
Place it back inside the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more. Once the cheese has melted, remove from the oven and let it stand for at least 5 minutes before serving.
