This is a cool way to make potatoes fun and different to eat. The breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese add nice crispiness to the potatoes. I feel like the spiral effect makes me want to eat the potatoes more. This is a great and innovative idea to make at home because I’ve seen these at the fair and I want one every time I go. Ingredients:
- 6 yellow potatoes, well washed (also, double the ingredients to make more)
- 3 tablespoons Parmigiano Reggiano (or Parmesan Cheese), freshly grated
- 2 tablespoons Bread Crumbs
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- Black Pepper, freshly grounded
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pink Himalayan Salt
- Parsley, fresh
- 6 skewers
Directions:
First, in a medium bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, paprika, black pepper, and set aside. Insert a skewer into the potato and push the skewer all the way through it. Use a sharp knife and start cutting at an angle in the potato. Make sure to cut in the opposite direction that you’re turning the skewer.
