To start, wash 1 lb of baby potatoes thoroughly, then dry them off. After this, cut them in half. Next, prepare your seasonings. In a small mixing bowl, combine 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Mix everything together until well combined, then set aside. Next, add 1/4 cup melted butter to a casserole dish followed by 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, and your seasoning mixture. Mix everything together to form a pasty consistency.

Spread the paste throughout the bottom of the casserole dish, making sure it’s entirely covered. Now, layer the halved potatoes, cut side down, into the pan. Once done, brush the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with some grated parmesan cheese on top. Place the potatoes in the oven at 425 degrees F and bake for 35 minutes. After baking, let them cool a bit then serve.
