I love to make paper crafts when I don’t have any errands during the weekend. Sometimes I make origami, a great way to destress and have fun. When I am with the kids, I make sure they do it with me so they can practice their creativity. This week, I looked for some activities for them and found this paper flower craft home decor by Aashus Art on Youtube. Don’t worry, this is an easy project, and even adults will enjoy making this.

Cover the cardboard with paper.
Get a stick and a long rectangular piece of newspaper. Roll the newspaper around the stick – glue the ends to secure. Make 3 more and cut them so they’ll measure 7.9″. Paint them black and let them dry. Once they are dried, glue them into pairs. Make 4 longer rolls of newspaper, cut them into 9.8″ sticks, then paint in black. Glue them into pairs as well.
Glue the rolls around the edges of the cardboard.
Get one of the colored squares, fold it in half diagonally, then fold it in half twice. Cut into a half-heart. Open it and it will form a flower.
Use the marker to make lines in the middle of the flower. Get a ruler and fold the petals of the flowers. Make several of these in different colors.
Get black paper and draw a vase. Cut it out and paste it on the white paper on the cardboard.
Arrange the flowers around the vase however you like. You can make it look like it’s overflowing or you can just put them on top of the vase. Let your creativity flow. Once you have decided on the arrangement, glue them in place.
