I decided to plan and make my Christmas gifts in July, like I’ve promised myself I’d do every year for the past few years and I’m really doing it this year! Rather than buying Christmas gifts, I have decided to make them!

I have found some great ideas of things I can make, but I think everyone I plan on giving gifts to would like something to decorate their home with. After looking on Pinterest, I decided that I wanted to make DIY wooden signs for everyone.

I’ve found several awesome ideas of what I can put on these signs and sayings that people in my family will love. Before I make any of them as gifts, I want to look for some wooden pallets to see how a couple of these turn out.

I’m gonna go to the craft store tomorrow and then I can experiment and see what I can create. I’d been searching for more ideas on how to make these DIY wooden signs and I ran across this easy yet wonderful tutorial I wanted to share with you today.

Rope makes a great material for wall signs and you can make this adorable rustic style art for your home decor quite easily.

Watch how this gal with The Wood Shed makes this sign in her step by step tutorial so you can get started early on your Christmas gifts too!

Since I lover experiments, Iโ€™ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
