This one-pot lasagna recipe by Scrumdiddlyumptious on YouTube is so convenient and saves time in the kitchen. It can be daunting to make classic lasagna in the oven because of the number of dishes that come from it. However, I love how easy it is to make because I’ve been wanting lasagna but thought it took forever to make. I appreciate one-pot recipes because I’m a busy person and it helps me make enough food for leftovers in the week. Also, if you have a family, this is a great way if you have a busy workday but still want a fresh meal. Plus, you can make other red pasta meals in one-pot such as spaghetti.

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz ground beef
  • 14 oz tomato sauce
  • 28 oz whole peeled tomatoes
  • 6 oz lasagna noodles
  • 7 oz ricotta cheese
  • 7 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • fresh basil for garnish

Directions:

First, in a large pot, add the onions and garlic in olive oil. Add then ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Then, add in the tomato sauce, tomatoes, and oregano.

Overall, homemade lasagna can take a long time to make so I think this is a perfect recipe to have if I want to make a quick and easy pasta meal. Now, I don’t ever want to make lasagna the traditional way, because saves so much time if there is a faster option. One thing I would change is that I would add more noodles to this lasagna dish.
