And did I mention it’s loaded with lots of flavor? You have to try this to see what I mean. Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 1/2 cups of beef stock
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic and herb seasoning
  • few sprigs of thyme, stems removed
  • 8 oz uncooked egg noodles
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • fresh parsley

Directions:

Step 1

In a large heavy bottom pot, heat 1 tbsp olive oil, then add the ground beef. Break up the meat and cook it just about fully cooked through. Next, add the sliced onions, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms along with a pinch of salt. Saute for eight to ten minutes, then add 2 tbsp flour. Cook until the flour is no longer visible, then add 3 1/2 cups of beef stock, a few sprigs of fresh thyme, a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, and 1 tbsp garlic and herb seasoning.

Step 2

Bring it to a boil, lower the heat, then simmer for three to four minutes. After this, add the egg noodles, cover the pot, and let the egg noodles cook for eight to ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Once done, add some freshly chopped parsley, some fresh ground black pepper, and 3/4 cup sour cream. Turn off the heat and mix everything until well combined. Serve and enjoy!
