Don’t you just love fresh donuts on a Sunday morning? My family really is wild over fresh donuts, but it is not always easy to get out and find them. So when I saw this wonderful video recipe tutorial by Emma’s Goodies on YouTube, I knew I had to make these donuts a part of our family cooking routine. The best part about this delicious donut recipe is the fact that it only calls for 2 ingredients, just mix self-rising flour and plain yogurt and that is all you need! There are 3 different icing methods in this video, plain glazed, chocolate glaze, and sugar-coated.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup self-rising flour (140 grams)
  • 6.5 ounces plus 1 tablespoon of whole milk plain yogurt (190 grams)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 stick of butter
  • 3/4 tablespoon of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder (or meted chocolate, for chocolate glaze)

Directions:

In this video recipe tutorial by Emma’s Goodies on YouTube, you will learn a really quick and easy way to make homemade donuts. You will start by adding self-rising four and yogurt to a mixing bowl to make the donut dough. Then, you will make little balls of dough and fry them in oil till the donut balls turn a golden color.
