Bread is one of my favorite foods in life, and especially love the rustic farmhouse taste of a good sourdough loaf. I have tried a few sourdough recipes, and this sourdough video recipe tutorial by Culinary Exploration, on YouTube, is by far the easiest I have found.  The secret to a good sourdough loaf is to have a good sourdough starter, here is the very easy recipe for a sourdough starter that you can make and keep on the counter indefinitely.

Ingredients For Sourdough Bread Recipe:

Directions:

In this sourdough video recipe tutorial by Culinary Exploration, on YouTube, you will learn to make a delicious rustic sourdough loaf. You begin by adding all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and just blend all the ingredients by hand. This is a no-knead bread, so you do not want to overwork the dough, the dough should kind of look a bit shaggy, and not formed onto a ball yet.

Then, you will follow the easy to understand instructions in the video tutorial to proof the bread. Then, you will use a sharp knife or razor blade to make a horizontal cut across the top of the bread, this will allow for the dough to expand, and the cut also gives the loaf it’s classic signature rustic look.
