Step 1
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, egg, sugar, and instant yeast until well combined, then add the all-purpose flour and salt, and mix them together using a spatula until incorporated and becomes a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for about an hour or until it doubles in size. Sprinkle some flour on top of the dough, then degas, and transfer to a floured surface. Flatten it with a rolling pin until it becomes a 20×12 inches rectangle. Brush the softened butter all over the dough spreading it evenly, then mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon powder, and sprinkle all over the buttered top of the dough.

Step 2
Cut the dough into strips the same width as your loaf pan, then stack them together with their filling side facing up, and cut in half to turn them into squares. Line a greased loaf pan with parchment paper, then place and line the dough on its side with the filling facing the same direction, and place the last stack facing the opposite direction so that their filling side are both facing each other. Cover the dough and let rest for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size, then brush the top with egg wash or a mixture of 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of milk, and then bake in the preheated oven at 180°C or 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes. Once done baking, brush the top with melted butter, then serve, and enjoy!
