But then I discovered this no-knead baguette recipe from Voila – Voila! Who knew it was this easy? I bet you’d be surprised how simple the steps are.

This recipe only needs four simple ingredients – bread flour, salt, yeast, and water. And it does not require kneading. I wasn’t lying when I said that it’s a super easy bread recipe. The mixing only takes about two minutes! If you love eating fresh bread in the morning, this is the perfect recipe for you. Serve it with soup, hot chocolate, cheese, or spreads, or use it to make appetizers, garlic bread, or breakfast sandwiches.
Homemade Baguette Ingredients
- 33.5 oz baker’s flour or bread flour
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- ¾ teaspoon of yeast
- 25.07 oz of water (room temperature)
How to Make Baguette
Step 1:
Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with the handle of a wooden spoon for about 2 minutes. You will see the dough will form into a ball. Make sure you no longer have mixed flour at the bottom of the bowl.
Step 2:
Cover the dough and let it rise for 8 to 10 hours at room temperature.
Step 3:
Generously sprinkle flour on a pizza dish or plate. Scrape the dough using a plastic dough scraper and transfer it to the plate. Make sure you are not pressing the dough to keep the air inside. Sprinkle more flour on top to avoid sticking.
Step 4:
Form it into an elongated shape, then cut the dough into four equal pieces. Again, make sure you are not pressing the dough.
Step 5:
Line a baking tray or plate with baking paper. Take a piece and stretch it gently into a baguette shape, then place it on the prepared baking tray. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
Step 6:
Place inside a 480F preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
