Let’s break down the layers. The first layer is the crust, made from golden Oreo cookies and melted butter. The second layer is the lemon pudding mixture. It will give that nice acidity to your dessert. The third layer is the cream cheese layer, which adds tangy and sweet flavors. And lastly, the top layer is made with Cool Whip sprinkled with Oreo cookie crumbs. This dessert is delicious and definitely worth making, especially if you love lemon.

Make the bottom crust layer. Add the Oreos in a food processor and blend into fine crumbs. Transfer to a medium bowl. Add the melted butter and stir well. Reserve 1/2 cup of the crumb mixture for later.
Add the remaining crumb mixture to a greased 9″ x 13″ baking dish and press evenly to form a crust. Place in the refrigerator.
Make the pudding layer. In a separate medium bowl, add the boxes of lemon pudding mix and the milk. Whisk until it becomes a thick pudding. Set aside.
Make the cream cheese layer. In a different bowl, whisk the cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer. Slowly add the powdered sugar and blend until smooth. Add one container of thawed Cool Whip and fold using a spatula.
Assemble the layer. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust. Next, spread the pudding mixture. Top it with one container of thawed Cool Whip. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture on top. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
