Add 1 egg, 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of yeast in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
Pour 1/3 cup of lukewarm milk into the egg mixture, followed by 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Stir well.
Place a sifter directly into the bowl and sift 1 1/2 cups of bread flour to remove lumps. Mix until it forms into a dough.
Add the softened butter and fold until well incorporated. Knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes until the dough turns smooth.
Cover it with a cling wrap and ferment at room temperature for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
After an hour, massage the dough lightly and remove the gas inside. Place on a lightly floured surface and stretch it into a long piece. Divide the dough into pieces. Get one of the pieces, pinch the ends, and roll it. Place it in a coated pan. Repeat with the remaining pieces. Cover them and ferment for 40 to 50 minutes.
Place the pan with the lid on your stovetop and set the heat to low. Cook for 11 to 13 minutes. Once done, open the lid and turn it upside down. Place the lid again and cook for 5 to 7 minutes more.
Once done baking, remove from the pan and serve warm.
