I love bread, that is why I decided to learn to bake one at home. One of my favorite recipes is this custard bread from Savor Easy on Youtube. It’s a no-bake recipe that made me practice my skills when it comes to making bread. It’s also a crowd-favorite because of how tasty it is, so I frequently make this for my family. Learn the full recipe below and see for yourself.
Combine 3/4 cup of milk, two eggs, 2 tsp instant yeast, and 3 tbsp sugar in a bowl. Mix well, then add 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 tsp salt. Continue mixing until dough forms. After this, cover the bowl and leave it for 20 minutes. Once 20 minutes is up, remove the cover and add 1/4 cup of unsalted butter. Mix with hands until the butter is fully incorporated, then transfer it to a floured surface. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, around seven minutes. After this, transfer it to an oiled bowl, cover it, and leave for 40 to 50 minutes. While waiting, make the filling. Add 2/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk and four egg yolks in a pan and whisk well, then add 1 cup of evaporated milk and 1 tbsp cornstarch. Turn the stove on low heat and stir until the mixture thickens. Once thick, turn off the heat and add 1 tbsp vanilla extract. Transfer it to a bowl, cover it, and keep it in the fridge. (Make sure the plastic cover is touching the surface of the custard filling.)

Back to the dough, punch it to release the gas, then transfer it to a floured surface. Flour the dough and roll it out to a 20″ x 12″ rectangle with a rolling pin. After this, trim the edges, and cut it into a triangular shape (about 2 & 1/2″ wide to smaller.) Once cut, tightly roll each piece, starting from the wide edge. After you have all the dough rolled out, cover them and let them sit for 15 minutes, then fry them on medium-low heat until golden brown. Once you have all the bread fried, set them aside and let them cool down. Now, transfer the custard filling to a piping bag, poke a hole in the bread, and fill them with the custard. Lastly, coat them with sugar.
