In a small pan, add 0.4 cups of condensed milk and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. Cook over low heat while continuously stirring. Cook until bubbling, then turn off the heat.
Add 2.65 oz of dried coconut into the mixture. Pour it gradually, mixing every addition. Let it cool for a while for about 20 minutes before you shape them. This will help the coconut to absorb some of the moisture and it will not be as sticky.
Form the coconut mixture into balls. Make sure to compact each piece. Once done, place them on a plate.
Chop the milk chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl. Use a double boiler or you can place them in the microwave to melt the chocolate. If you don’t have a double boiler, you can place the bowl of chocolate on top of a small pot with boiling water. Add the roasted cashew nuts and mix well until well combined.
Dip and coat each of the coconut balls with the chocolate mixture then place on a tray lined with parchment paper. Make sure that they have spaces in between. Let the chocolate set, then serve.
