Are you looking for a make-ahead dessert for your kids? Try this chocolate fudge from Bake With Shivesh on Youtube. This recipe only needs three ingredients to make and doesn’t need baking. Your kids will love this simple yet delicious treat for sure. You can also make this ahead of time if you’re hosting a family gathering. I love how I can customize this chocolate dessert and add almost anything: walnuts, pecans, cranberries, etc. My favorite is roughly chopped walnuts, as it adds extra texture and nutty flavor to the fudge. Cranberries are also good as they will give fruity flavors. Try this today and impress your family! Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions. Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cups condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:

Step 1

To start, grease your baking pan with some melted butter and line it with parchment paper. Set it aside. Next, roughly chop 2 cups worth of dark chocolate and transfer it to a medium heat-proof bowl. Melt it over a double boiler. Once melted, add 1 1/4 cups condensed milk to the bowl and 2 tbsp melted salted butter. Mix and combine everything thoroughly.

Step 2

Now, fold in 1/4 cup of roughly chopped walnuts for extra texture (optional). Once everything is mixed properly, transfer the mixture to your prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. After this, place the baking pan in the fridge and let the dessert set for three to four hours or until serving. (Chop the chocolate fudge into bite-size pieces before serving.)
