Cinnamon

Ants don’t like cinnamon because it impedes their ability to smell other things, such as food. Sprinkle this spice onto areas where they might enter your home. You can use this in your garden as well. Just sprinkle some on the soil around your plants that ants infest. This will keep them from climbing the stems and eating the fruits.

Citrus

Anything citrus. Fruits, scents, or oils are all effective natural repellants. You can leave orange peels or lemon juice in areas where they linger can help keep your home free from these pests. You can also mix citrus oil with water and transfer it to a spray bottle.
