Activated charcoal

This is the most natural and inexpensive method you could use, it can lighten your teeth by up to three shades. Simply crush up one charcoal tablet into a powder, then dip your clean wet toothbrush into it and brush your teeth as you normally do.

Powdered milk and toothpaste

Dairy products can improve the health of your teeth because of their calcium and phosphorus content. Either put dairy into your diet or put toothpaste on your toothbrush, add powder milk on top and brush your teeth. Do this 2 times a week to get your teeth pearly white and strong.

Baking soda and lemon juice

Baking soda is known to remove surface stains, while lemon contains vitamin C. They are also known for lightening teeth and having antibacterial properties. Just put a pinch of baking soda on your toothbrush, then add a few drops of lemon juice, and brush your teeth normally. Just don’t use this method more than once a week and do not leave it on your teeth for more than 2 minutes.

Hydrogen peroxide

This is known for being a bleaching agent, but make sure your teeth aren’t too sensitive. Simply dip a cotton swab into the peroxide and gently rub it on your teeth, then rinse thoroughly. Do this only 1 or 2 times a week, or you can always find a toothpaste with hydrogen peroxide in it.

Sea salt, lemon juice, and toothpaste

Sea salt is known for having calcium, magnesium, and iron among others, it also has antibacterial properties which freshen your breath and protect your enamel. Simply mix 1/2 tsp of sea salt and some freshly squeezed lemon juice with a small amount of toothpaste in a bowl, apply the mixture to your teeth and leave it on for 1 minute before rinsing your mouth thoroughly, repeat 1-2 times a week.

Lemon juice and water

A mixture of equal parts of lemon juice and water will help restore whiteness to your teeth and completely disinfect your oral cavity. Mix 1 tsp of water with 1 tsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice, then brush your teeth thoroughly with the combined liquids and rinse it out. Then, brush again with regular toothpaste, do this only once a week.

Apple cider vinegar and water

Apple cider vinegar is known for being a highly powerful cleansing and disinfecting agent. To use this method, simply dilute 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and use this homemade mouthwash every morning before brushing your teeth, the water balances out the acidity of the vinegar so it’s totally fine to use this mixture daily.

They’re great for lightening teeth because they’re acidic. Just take a ripe strawberry and mash it up with a spoon, brush your teeth with this paste for a few minutes to get rid of yellow stains, you can do this once a month or mash up 1 strawberry, then mix 1/2 tsp of baking soda and stir them together, dip your toothbrush and brush your teeth. Leave it for about 5 minutes before rinsing, do this 1-2 times a week.
