Materials:

  • a dollar bill

Directions:

Step 1

To start, get a dollar bill and start folding it in half horizontally, then unfold. Fold it again but this time, vertically. Rotate and fold both top corners into the center line. Unfold it, then tuck it inside. Next, open both sides then turn it upside down. Fold the upper edges down to the crease.

Step 2

Unfold the flaps, fold again inwards, then fold them again in reverse. Make two creases from the center in a diagonal direction, making sure the flaps are facing outward. Open both corners in the creases, shaping the butterfly wings.
