You can use any beans you prefer and season this to your liking, and even omit the chilies if you don’t like spicy dishes. Nonetheless, this stew would still come out perfect. What are you waiting for? Try this today and see for yourself!
To start, chop the potatoes into large chunks and blend the red onion, tomatoes, garlic cloves, and ginger individually to turn them into a paste. Set them aside. Heat your pressure cooker on medium heat and add 3 tbsp of cooking oil. Add the cumin seeds and fry them until brown. After this, add the onion paste, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Turn the heat to medium-low, and cook them until dark brown. Once done, add 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, and the chilies. Stir for 30 seconds.

Next, add the blended tomatoes and cook until the texture becomes a dry paste. Now, add the beans, stir, and let them cook for five minutes on medium heat. After this, add the chopped potatoes and season with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp salt. Stir for 30 seconds, then add 1 liter of hot water. Mix well, place the lid, secure it well, and cook for ten minutes on medium heat, then turn it on low and cook for another 15 minutes. Once done, let it cool down, then open up the lid. Heat it again over medium heat, then add 1 tsp curry powder and 3 tbsp chopped coriander. Mix well, then serve!
