Bite-sized dessert recipes are my favorite. So, when I saw these melt-in-your-mouth lemon cream bites by Fatto in Casa da Alba, I knew they will be my next favorite go-to treats. Citrus flavors with whipped cream are truly the best combination. Read on or watch the video below for the full instructions.

Instructions:
Step 1:
In a mixing bowl, combine 3 eggs, 5/8 cups of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar. Beat until it is well combined using a hand mixer.
Step 2:
Continue whisking, then add 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of sunflower oil. Mix until just combined.
Step 3:
Add 1 and 5/8 cups of flour to the mixture and 1 slightly rounded tablespoon of baking powder. Mix until it has a thick consistency using a whisk.
Step 4:
Add lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Whisk until well incorporated.
Step 5:
Pour in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread evenly. Place in a preheated oven at 356 degrees F and bake for 25 minutes. Once done baking, let it cool.
Step 6:
Remove it from the tray. Use a round cookie cutter or glass jar to cut them into pieces, then place them on a baking tray. Break the excess bread into small pieces and put them into a bowl.
Step 7:
Pour some orange juice into the baked bread on the tray.
Step 8:
Pour the sweetened whipping cream into a bowl and whisk until it has a very thick consistency. Pour the orange juice and mix again until smooth. Put the mixture into a piping bag.
Step 9:
Squeeze the whipped cream mixture on top of the baked bread, then top it with the crumbs. Press using your hand to form it into a dome-shaped dessert.
