This melt-in-your-mouth chocolate dessert recipe by Quick Simple & Delicious will surely be everyone’s favorite treat. The first layer is the moist and rich cake, then topped with 2 more layers of cream and chocolate. It’s the perfect cake for the whole family.
Ingredients:
Cake layer:
- 2 eggs
- 1 2/3 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of yogurt
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vinegar
- a pinch of salt
Milk chocolate mixture:
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Cream layer:
- 3/4 cup of whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
Chocolate layer:
- 3/4 cup of whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- chocolate sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:
Step 1:
In a bowl, add eggs, vanilla sugar, and sugar. Beat until pale yellow and fluffy. Gradually add the vegetable oil while beating. Next, add the yogurt and mix again.
Step 2:
Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and baking powder to remove lumps. Whisk until well combined. Next, add the vinegar and a pinch of salt. Stir again.
Step 3:
Grease your baking mold and transfer the mixture. Place it inside the oven and bake at 356F for about 20 minutes.
Step 4:
Make the milk chocolate mixture. In a pot, add the milk and cocoa powder. Mix until well incorporated. Place over heat while continuously mixing until there are no lumps.
Step 5:
Poke the cake with a stick and pour the chocolate and milk mixture. Set it aside until it cools.
Step 6:
Make the cream layer. In a bowl, add whipping cream and sugar. Beat until fluffy. Transfer into the cake, then spread evenly.
Step 7:
Make the chocolate layer. Warm the whipping cream into a pot, then pour over the dark chocolate. Stir until everything is melted. Set it aside and let it cool. Once cooled, pour over the cream layer. Spread it by tilting the baking dish. Remove air bubbles using a stick. Add sprinkles on top if preferred.
