After sweating out the completion of my living room plank wall, I was wanting to do a quick and easy craft project. As much as I love breaking out the saw and nail gun, there’s nothing more relaxing and satisfying than painting and creating a simple craft, especially when it uses Dollar Store items.
I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life, so when I spotted faux succulents at the Dollar Store I knew they had to come home with me. They’re perfect for adding a touch of green without worrying about watering and leaves turning brown in a few weeks. Several of these look great displayed in a wooden box like she does in this tutorial!
Succulents are incredibly low maintenance and easy for practically anyone to care for. But the best kind of succulents, if you have a really brown thumb, like a lot of us do, she has the perfect solution…faux succulents! And what’s even better is that you can buy them from the Dollar Store! I was amazed that you can get some real looking faux succulents.
I keep my kitchen well-stocked with mason jars of all shapes and sizes, which makes this craft very easy and convenient for me to make. With a few extra supplies, I can put a mini succulent terrarium together in less than 30 minutes.
I’ve been so excited to get started on some Summer crafts for the house. I bought a TON of these faux succulents and I’ve been dying to do a quick project with them. I have a pretty wide ledge on my kitchen window seal and I thought they would be perfect there.
Also, these simple and chic mason jar terrariums make great gifts. Mason jars are a perfect planter for fun and quirky succulents.
The Daily DIYer shows you how to do this great project in her step by step tutorial below, so make sure to watch it so you’ll know how she does this!
