Now this is a different twist for a mason jar project…and I think you’ll agree. We see many mason jar projects but this one is exceptional and quite unique.

These pretty sugar cookie designs are inspired by the dainty aesthetic of mason jars complete with subtle lace and burlap detailing along with chic pastel colors. These cookies are an ideal design to use for weddings, showers or parties to reflect the decor in the food.

The sugar cookies begin with a simple sweet dough that is cut into the rounded shape of Mason jars using a cookie cutter or an x-acto knife. From there the cookies are filled in with light blue royal icing with added white to recreate light highlights.

The jars are complete with a burlap and lace label made from thinly piped colored icing and topped with a silver icing lid. You can add rose detailing and/or the words Having a Ball, like some of the cookies I’ve seen on Pinterest.

If these cookies were to be served at a wedding, you could add a thank you cookie tag as well to match the jars. These are so cute for wedding showers, baby showers and other celebrations.

If you take a look at the mason jar decorated cookies on Pinterest, you will see so many cute ideas for weddings and parties.

Watch how SweetAmbsCookies make these in their step by step tutorial attached below. These are so much fun to make and surprise friends with!
