Mango wine sounds refreshing on a hot sunny summer day. It’s summer season so I try to find recipes that are relevant to the season. This recipe by cuoredicioccolato on YouTube is easy and simple to follow step-by-step. Mango is one of my favorite fruits and they are in season right now. I love how this is a fruity wine instead of being a plain red or white wine. I’ve never had mango wine or had an idea that it is a thing, but it sounds amazing. This fermentation process reminds me of a time when I tried making kombucha. It blows me away on how easy it is to make wine because it’s the waiting that takes the longest. It’s all worth it in the end and pretty cool to see the progress and how it brews into something tasteful. This is a perfect fruit wine for any summer occasion. Plus, it would be nice to impress your friends or family members when you bring your own homemade wine to the gathering.
First, start off cutting all of your mangoes and add them to the pitcher. Squeeze in the limes and throw the whole thing in as well. Then, take the bunch of grapes and mash it with the sugar and add that to the mix.
Next, make sure to check in on the fermentation process after 4 days. Then, let it ferment for a whole week. Make sure to transfer the wine in another pitcher with 100 grams of sugar.
Overall, making wine is more of a waiting game and letting it ferment for a week and more. This is a great recipe for those who are beginners like me but want to try to make their own wine at home. This is a healthy homemade wine made without yeast.
