The ingredients are also simple, and I bet you already have them in your kitchen. So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly appetizer that can feed a big crowd, you should try this recipe! Watch the video below for the step by step instructions.

Ingredients:

  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • water, to cover eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp sweet relish (or pickle juice)
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon, garnish
  • 2 green onions, garnish
  • 2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese, garnish

Directions:

Step 1

Add your eggs in a large pot/pan and fill it with water until all the eggs are covered. Add 2 tsp baking soda, then put the stove on high heat, bringing it to a boil. Once the water comes to a rolling boil, turn off the heat, place the lid on, and let the eggs sit for ten minutes. Once done, transfer the eggs to a large bowl of cold water with ice cubes. Let them sit for a few minutes, then start peeling them. Next, cut the eggs lengthwise and remove the yolks to a bowl.
