Ingredients:

  • pasta of choice
  • 1 lb chicken
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • paprika, to taste
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 medium garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 12 oz jar classic alfredo sauce
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon seasoning

Directions:

Step 1

Boil 1.5 L of water, season it with 2 tbsp salt, and cook the pasta according to its package instructions. In the meantime, prep the chicken. Chop it into bite-size pieces and season with some ground black pepper, salt, and paprika. Mix together, making sure the chicken is well coated with the seasonings. Heat 3 tbsp cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add the seasoned chicken. Cook each side for two to five minutes until golden brown. (Drain the pasta at this point, reserving 1 cup of pasta water for later use.)

After this, add the chicken back into the pan along with the cooked pasta. Add 1 tsp basil and mix everything well to combine. Serve and enjoy!
