Lasagna is one of my favorite red sauce pasta meals, but this lasagna rolls recipe by It’s Butta on YouTube is quick and easy to make at home with ingredients that are inexpensive. Pasta is one of the easiest meals to make for the value of your buck. You can have a bunch of leftovers when having an Italian night at home, and it works perfectly as leftovers for the next days. It’s easy to top the pasta with cheese, and pop it right in the oven. I’ve always thought lasagna takes a long time to make, but you just cook all the ingredients on the stovetop and assemble. It’s one of those pasta dishes that look fancy, but quick to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 box Lasagna Noodles
  • Any desired seasonings of your choice
  • 1 can Spaghetti sauce
  • Cream cheese
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Shredded Cheese

First, cook the lasagna noodles according to the directions on the package. In a large skillet, season and cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain the excess grease, and stir in the spaghetti sauce, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and ricotta cheese.

Next, assemble the lasagna rolls by laying out each noodle, and sprinkle with shredded cheese, meat sauce, and more cheese. Roll it up and place the seam side down in a baking dish. Bake for about 10-15 minutes uncovered. Continue to watch It’s Butta tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Overall, I’m going to try this recipe out because the rolls are adorable and great portion sizes to not overeat. I love the concept of rolling the lasagna in a roll because the presentation looks great. I would add spinach and onions to this recipe because I like vegetables.
