Have a ton of half-square triangles at home? If you do, I have the perfect project for you! This Lady of the Lake quilt by Missouri Star is made out of several HSTs. Each quadrant consists of 13 half-square triangles. That is definitely a lot, right? If you don’t have a pile of HSTs, do not worry. You do not have to do it one by one. If you cut the triangles and sew them together to make the square, it will take you a couple of hours to finish! But you don’t have to do it one by one with this method.

Jenny Doan will teach you how to make 16 at a time. The most known technique is the magic 8, which will give you 8 half-square triangles at a time, but if you need more than that just like what this project requires, use the same method she used in the video below. This quilt design is very easy to make and is suitable for beginners.
