Lately I’ve been seeing lace jewelry around and love it. I had lots of lace scraps laying around from my various projects and thought this was a great way to use some of it up.

Covering lace pieces with Mod Podge helps make them more durable and firm, and keeps the lace from unraveling.

These earrings make great gifts, and you can knock out several pairs at a time. Use up all that trim to make a variety of handmade jewelry!

You can make some of the most beautiful earrings with all of the intricate laces available to us. I made some off white ones and some royal blue and feel so feminine when I wear them.

Materials Needed:

  • Lace pieces
  • Two jump rings
  • Two earring pieces
  • Mod Podge Gloss (Mod Podge Stiffy works as well)

The first thing you’ll need to do is look at the lace and figure out what piece of the pattern you’d like and trim around it. Decide how you want the lace to face when they become earrings.

Keep in mind that you can also use clear nail polish to make these. I used Mod Podge because I thought it was easier to get the whole piece of lace saturated.
