Ingredients Needed For This Recipe:

  • Ginger Snaps
  • Brown Sugar
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Key Lime Juice
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Cream Cheese

Directions:

Step One

Put your ginger snaps into a blender and crush them up. Pour the mixture back into a bowl then add in the brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Mix the ingredients up well then spread it into a cheesecake pan. This will be your crust, so make sure you get the mixture around the sides and all over the bottom. Put the crust into the freezer while you complete the next steps.

Step Two

In a new bowl, or a stand mixer pour your heavy whipping cream and whisk or allow the mixer to mix it till it reaches soft peaks. Scoop the whipped cream into a new large bowl once you’re done.

Step Three

Add your cream cheese into a bowl with powdered sugar and key lime juice. You can also zest a lime and add it into the bowl as well. Mix this up until it is nice and smooth

Step Four

Once the cream cheese mixture is done, begin folding the whipping cream from step two into the mixture. Don’t beat it in. You want the cream to stay light and fluffy.

Step Five

Get the pie crust you made out of the fridge and put your cream into the crust. Place it back into the fridge and allow it to set up for at least four hours.
