Ingredients:

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1/2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed red chili
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 – 2 tsp olive oil

Directions:

Step 1

To boiling water, add 1/2 tbsp salt and mix well. After this, add the cabbage leaves and blanch for four to five minutes. Once done, transfer them to a plate and set them aside. Next, add 1 lb ground chicken to a bowl along with 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp crushed red chili, 1 tsp salt (or to taste), 1/2 tsp cumin powder, and 1/2 tbsp olive oil. Mix until well combined, then toss in 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander.

Step 2

Now, start assembling the cabbage rolls. Lay one cabbage leaf, then add a spoonful of the ground chicken mixture. Roll it like how you would roll an egg roll, then place it on a greased steamer, seam facing down. Repeat these steps until you finished the meat mixture. Once done, cover the steamer with its lid and cook for eight to ten minutes. After steaming, transfer the cabbage rolls to a pan with some olive oil and fry them on both sides until the color turns light brown. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, enjoy!
