Step 1:
Prepare your cornbread and crumble them apart into nice little cubes. In a mixing bowl, put the crumbled cornbread, chopped onions, and celeries together. Mix the ingredients and squish the cornbread, continue mixing until there are no more chunks.
Step 2:
Put about 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of dried sage. If you find this herb too strong to your liking, then you can add as little as you want or you can skip this part.

Step 3:
Add bone broth or chicken stock to the mixture gradually, just enough to incorporate the moisture into the cornbread. Mix until you achieve a sticky texture. Add ground pepper to taste.
Step 4:
Grease your baking dish with butter. Pour in the mixture and spread it out nicely to avoid gaps or holes.
Step 5:
In a pre-heated 350 degrees oven, pop in your mixture and leave it there for 30 to 45 minutes. Check until the crust turns golden brown.
Step 6:
Now if your dish is done, let it cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
