This Jesus spaghetti recipe is by Chelcie Lynn Vlogs on YouTube, and it’s loaded with a lot of cheese. She doesn’t explain why she calls it Jesus spaghetti, but I’ve never heard of it before. It’s interesting to see the different types of “cheese” she puts in this recipe such as cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese. This is like a creamy yet cheesy spaghetti casserole. I love spaghetti, and this is a different type of spaghetti recipe that I would love to try. Although I think I would substitute some of the ingredients with fat-free items to make it healthier.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 jars of spaghetti sauce
  • large yellow onion
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • package of mushrooms
  • butter or olive oil (to cook onions)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • room temp cream cheese (however much you like)
  • sour cream (however much you like)
  • cottage cheese (however much you like)
  • shredded mozzarella (however much you like, you’ll need some for cheese mixture AND the top of the Jesus spaghetti)

Directions:

First, have a pot ready to boil to cook the noodles. Then, start on the spaghetti sauce. Make the meat sauce by chopping the onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Add the onions into a pot with butter on medium heat. Cook until translucent, and then add the mushrooms and garlic.

Next, continue to watch Chelcie Lynn Vlogs tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details. Once all of the spaghetti components are finished, start to assemble in the baking dish. Put half of the spaghetti into the bottom of the dish, then add the cheese mixture, and add the rest of the spaghetti. Top off the casserole with more cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Overall, this looks like cheesy spaghetti made from heaven. I want to make this one day and see why it’s called Jesus spaghetti.
