This jalapeno bacon cheddar deviled eggs recipe by Allrecipes on YouTube is a great appetizer recipe for a potluck or a holiday gathering. It’s a good small little savory snack to have to go along with your meal during the holidays. Some people hate making deviled eggs but it’s easier than most people give credit for. I love eggs, and they’re a healthy filling snack. This is not a basic deviled eggs, the addition of the savory bacon, cheddar cheese, and spicy jalapeno adds a perfect finish to the eggs. I think deviled eggs are always a hit for any occasion because not a lot of people go out of their way to make it. Some people hate the smell of boiled eggs, so I don’t blame them. However, for the final product, I wouldn’t mind making them. Personally, I’ve never made them before so I can’t wait to try this recipe out.

Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ red onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 pinch paprika, or as desired

Directions:

First, place the eggs in a pot and let the water come to a boil. Remove from the heat and let it sit in the water for about 15 minutes. Add all of the ingredients in a bowl with the boiled egg yolk.

Next, cut the eggs in half lengthwise and take the jalapeño bacon cheddar mixture and spoon them back into the boiled egg whites. Sprinkle with bacon, paprika, and jalapeno.

Overall, I love these and I think this is a great Thanksgiving appetizer to eat a couple of these before the main course meal. I think the raw jalapeño and crispy bacon adds a fresh finish to the eggs. Plus, it adds texture to the creamy and smooth consistency.
