Do you have white shirts that have accumulated multiple sweat stains on top of the other and no matter how hard you try to remove and wash the shirt, it doesn’t work? You may have used multiple cleaning products before but it doesn’t give the desired result, and you’re not alone because it took a couple of trial and error until I found the perfect solution!

This video tutorial by Clean Freak & Germaphobe is a real life-saver and is now my favorite way to wash white shirts. The products that she used and demonstrated in the video are surprisingly simple and common household items. I never thought they would work that way until I tried it, and I bet you would think so, too. Learn how now to see for yourself.
Step 1
Spray Dawn powerwash directly to the stained area, then put it in the machine and set it to the hottest water cycle but don’t run the machine yet. Allow the shirt to soak for about 30 minutes, then put some regular detergent on the machine, and run it as you usually would. After washing and rinsing, hang the shirt to dry under the sun.
Step 2
If this doesn’t work, an extra step that you can make is to drizzle a generous amount of Dawn dish soap on the stained area and make sure to work on a dry shirt. Brush the area to agitate and loosen the stain, then place the shirt on a bucket of warm water, and add Clorox bleach. Next, wash the shirt in your machine as usual, rinse it, and hang it to dry under the sun.
