#1 Remove and Clean Your Screens
Remove the screens first and clean them so they can dry while you clean the rest of the windows.
#2 Cleaning Window Tracks
Get an old toothbrush and loosen up the dust on the corners and cracks. After this, run the vacuum to completely remove the dust from the surface. Once done, spray the track with your DIY cleaning mix (1 cup vinegar, 1 cup water, tsp dish soap), then wipe them clean.
#3 Dust Your Window Frames
Dust your outdoor window frames using a cobweb remover.
#4 Washing Exterior Windows
Dip the microfiber scrubber into your cleaning solution (bucket of water with some Dawn dish soap), then clean the window in sections. After scrubbing, use a squeegee to remove the water from the glass.
#5 Hard Water and Tough Spots
Lubricate the surface first with your cleaner, then start scrubbing with either a razor blade scraper or steel wool (grade #0000) in the area with tough spots. Don’t use this on tempered glass or windows with film.
