Step 1

To make your duvet clean without a washing machine, shake it off first to remove dust.

Next, lay your duvet flat on a surface, then remove stains with a homemade cleaning solution. (For the solution, combine the juice of half a lemon and 1 tbsp salt.) Using a towel, dab it into the stained area on your duvet.

Step 3

Combine hot water and 2 tbsp of baking soda in a spray bottle, then add 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake well, then spray it on both sides of your duvet and wipe it down with a dry cloth.

Step 4

After this, let it dry under the sun. Once it’s completely dry, you can now store it for future use.
