One thing that I never want to experience, especially when I’m at somebody else’s house, is a clogged toilet. The hassle and stress this causes is too much, not to mention the embarrassment, on the other hand, if this happens in your home, it still can be a problem. The initial thought would be to use a plunger and if you don’t have one, then the next smart move is to call up a plumber or a professional. But, what if I tell you that you don’t need to do any of that because you can fix your clogged toilet easily in as fast as 1 minute?

There are a lot of genius hacks that you can find online that use different alternatives to a plunger, and most of them work so well. But, my favorite among all of those tricks is this one by Do It With Dave on YouTube! This method uses only a toilet brush which almost every household has and this idea is so clever that you’d wonder why you’ve never thought of that before. This also works in just a couple of seconds and this a very useful hack, especially if you’re in another house, and you can’t find any other item in the bathroom except for the toilet brush.

First, you have to bring the water level as high as possible, then grab a toilet brush, and rapidly push it in a few inches to the hole. This motion will help push the water through the P-trap and gravity will force the clog out. After a couple of seconds, the toilet should flush successfully.
