There are many times when our sinks tend to clog up and we buy the Drano Snake product to unclog them, however, there’s no need to spend extra money when you can use 3 products that you may have already in your house. This method by Howdini on YouTube shows how simple it is to unclog your sink drain without any hard labor work. My sink clogs up easily for some reason, but I can solve my problem instantly with this trick. There’s no need for harsh chemicals to unclog a drain because Drano products are high in chemicals and have a strong smell. I’ve always thought the fastest way to get rid of or solve something is by buying it at the store. This saves me so much money for now and in the future if this problem arises.

Supplies:

  • baking soda
  • white vinegar
  • hot boiling water

Directions:

First, take half a cup of baking soda and pour it down the drain the best you can directly in the hole. I think removing the stopper will help. Also, there’s no set amount of how much to put in, but personally, I’d add more to ensure that it would get the job done.

Next, follow it up with half a cup of white vinegar, and it will bubble. Let it continue to bubble, take the boiling water, and pour it directly down the drain. There may be debris coming up.
