#1: Microwave Method

Run or soak the sponge in water or after using the sponge, place it in the microwave, and heat it for about 2 minutes. Carefully remove the hot sponge from the microwave, let it cool down, and put it back in the holder.

Pro Tip: Steamy sponges can help soften dried food particles in the microwave, making cleaning easier.

#2: Bleach Method

Grab a bucket and fill it with 1 part bleach and 9 parts water, then give them a good stir, and set it aside. After using the sponge, place it in a shallow bowl, then fill it with the bleach solution, and let sit for about 10 to 30 seconds, you can wear gloves with this method. After soaking, wring it out, and dump the solution.

Pro Tip: The solution can be used to clean sinks and faucets, remember to rinse them after 30 seconds.
