Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • Garlic cloves
  • Lemongrass
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper powder
  • Butter

Step 1

Make sure to wash and clean the chicken well, then let it dry for a bit while preparing the rest of the ingredients. Cut the lemongrass into three, then chop the onion into quarters, and crush the garlic cloves. Get the chicken, then season the inside with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, and rub the inside as you mix together the seasoning and spread it evenly. Insert the lemon grass, onion, and garlic cloves.

Once done stuffing the chicken, close the opening with some toothpicks, then season the outside of the whole chicken with more salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and place in the basket of your air fryer. Let the chicken cook at 120 degrees for about 45 minutes on each side, then make sure to brush the whole chicken with butter every 15 minutes for the best results. After cooking the chicken, cut it in half, then serve, and enjoy!
