Make the paste. In a bowl, add distilled vinegar, a little bit of Dawn dish soap, and baking soda. Mix until well combined. Keep adding baking soda until it has a thick consistency.
Dip the old rag to the mixture and rub it on your walls, backsplash, countertops, and kitchen surfaces. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, using a clean damp rag (make sure to wring it out), wipe the areas clean.
